Bid Specialist / Proposal Writer

Job Summary: Responsible for managing the technical aspects of proposal development, ensuring that our submissions meet client requirements and showcase our technical capabilities effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Policies & Procedures:
Implement the Business Development department’s set policies and procedures and comply with company’s policies.
Activities:
Lead the development of technical proposals in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring alignment withclient specifications and requirements.
Collaborate with internal technical teams to gather necessary information, including project scope, methodologies, anddeliverables.
Coordinate and manage the proposal process from initiation to submission, adhering to timelines and ensuring theaccuracy and completeness of the technical content.
Organize and participate in proposal review meetings, incorporating feedback and ensuring continuous improvement inproposal quality.
Draft, review, and edit technical sections of proposals, ensuring clarity, coherence, and technical accuracy.
Develop innovative and tailored solutions to meet client needs, differentiating our proposals from standard submissions.
Work closely with the Business Development Executive, project managers, and technical leads to develop proposalstrategies and themes that highlight our technical strengths.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal teams to facilitate the seamless flow of information and supportfor proposal development.
Maintain and update a repository of technical proposal content, ensuring consistency and adherence to companystandards and guidelines.
Implement best practices for proposal development, including templates, style guides, and quality assurance processes.
Engage with clients during the proposal process to clarify technical requirements and address any queries related to oursubmissions.
Attend pre-bid meetings and technical discussions as required to gain a comprehensive understanding of clientexpectations.
Monitor industry trends and advancements to ensure proposals reflect the latest innovations and best practices.
Provide insights and recommendations for enhancing the proposal process and improving win rates.

Candidate Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture or a related technical field.
Significant experience (typically5+ years) in in proposal engineering or a similar role, with a strong focus on technicalproposal development.
Requirement Open for all Bilinguals (English & Arabic)
Attention to Detail and Accuracy, Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks

Landscape Architect II

Reports to: Senior Landscape Architect

Department: Architecture

Location: Kuwait

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary: Responsible for designing landscape drawings for all project types; with particular emphasis on innovation and aesthetics, whilst ensuring that the changes to the natural environment are appropriate, sensitive and sustainable.

Key Responsibilities:

Policies & Procedures

Implement and comply with the Architectural department & company’s set policies and procedures.

Project Management Activities

Analyze the natural environment of the site with regards to the landscape requirements, this may include (but is not limited to):

– Soil, slope of the land, drainage, and vegetation

– Existing buildings, roads, walkways, and utilities

– Layout of athletic amenities

– Reference to codes and standards

– Other related landscape requirements

Engage with senior architects, infrastructure and project managers to stablish general landscape requirements and confer with them to determine the factors affecting planning landscape sites, such as: architectural preferences, purpose and function.
Assist in preparation of preliminary designs to address the needs of the client after studying and analyzing the site.
Assist in development of detailed site plans, reports, working drawings, models and other specifications for the project in collaboration with the design team.
Outline the mode of construction for the projects in detail and list planting, soft-scape and hard-scape materials required.
Able to read and implement from electro-mechanical drawings and requirements to the design of the landscape.
Monitor the design of a variety of projects and maintain the character of sites of natural beauty and ensuring deadlines are met;
Monitor the design and preparation of measurements, base drawings, digital imagery and color, material and plant selections.
Coordinate with other departments regarding any modifications needed to take place within the design.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Senior Landscape Architect, Lead & Design Architects.

Span of Communication

Internal: Departments (Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, Infrastructural, etc), Statutory authority’s liaison & Senior Landscape Architect, Lead & Design Architects.

Candidate Profile:

Requirement open for all Nationals
Bachelor Degree in Landscape, Architecture, Horticulture or related field
Relevant experience (typically 6+ years) in Landscape design
Required KSE Membership
Architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up)
Professional Certifications and Affiliations:
Member of Kuwait Society for Engineers
Accreditation in Landscape or other relevant certifications can be advantageous
