Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Accountant to join the Finance team in Kuwait. The role will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely monthly and quarterly financial reports, supporting regulatory and statutory reporting requirements, and assisting with external audits.

Key Responsibilities: ï‚· Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts, including: o Profit & Loss statements o Balance Sheets o Cash position reports o Variance analysis ï‚· Prepare supporting schedules for regulatory filings, including CMA-related reporting requirements. ï‚· Ensure financial reports and schedules reconcile accurately to the general ledger and underlying accounting records. ï‚· Review and validate reconciliations prepared by the Bookkeeper/Accountant before submitting reports for review. ï‚· Support the external audit process and respond to initial auditor queries. ï‚· Prepare audit schedules, supporting documentation, and financial analysis as required. ï‚· Assist with group and multi-entity financial consolidation, including consolidation of Kuwait and UAE entities. ï‚· Provide cross-functional support to the finance team and act as a backup for bookkeeping and accounting activities when required. ï‚· Ensure financial reporting is completed accurately and within agreed month-end and quarter-end deadlines. ï‚· Maintain compliance with applicable IFRS requirements, accounting policies, and regulatory reporting standards. ï‚· Support continuous improvement of financial reporting processes, controls, and procedures.
Candidate Profile:
ï‚· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 4–5 years of experience in financial and statutory reporting. ï‚· Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and audit support. ï‚· Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar, along with advanced Excel skills. ï‚· Prior experience in an accounting or audit firm is preferred. ï‚· Exposure to regulatory reporting, CMA filings, and statutory requirements is an advantage. ï‚· Experience in multi-entity accounting or group consolidation, preferably within banking, financial services, or listed companies, is desirable. ï‚· CPA/ACCA qualified or in progress is preferred. ï‚· Strong English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage. ï‚· Detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of meeting strict reporting deadlines.
