About me
Dear Madam / Sir,
I am writing to express my interest in the Lead Site Architect / Construction Manager position. I am a Chartered Architect (ARB, RIBA) with over 20 years of experience delivering major architectural and infrastructure developments across onshore and offshore environments in the GCC, Europe, and Africa.
Throughout my career, I have contributed to complex, high-profile projects across aviation, governmental, hospitality, and coastal and island-based developments. These experiences have reinforced my belief that successful architecture relies on maintaining a clear line between design intent and built reality — whether the project is inland, at the waterfront, or located within a challenging offshore setting. Careful coordination, technical precision, and a collaborative approach are essential to delivering enduring and well-constructed environments.
In my current role as Lead Site Architect, I oversee the complete architectural implementation on site, ensuring quality standards are respected from materials and finishing to final execution. My role involves daily coordination with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and client representatives, with a focus on progress, clarity, and proactive issue resolution. I aim to lead with steadiness, open communication, and respect for the broader project vision.
My professional background spans all stages of the project lifecycle — from early design development to site supervision and handover. I have learned that effective delivery depends not only on technical competence, but also on adaptability and an understanding of the different logistical, environmental, and operational considerations that apply in both onshore and offshore construction settings.
As a Chartered Architect and Project Management Professional with sustainability credentials (LEED GA / AP BD+C / AP O+M, PMP), I offer a balanced approach that combines design awareness, responsible site management, and a commitment to environmental and operational resilience.
I would welcome the opportunity to bring my experience and collaborative working approach to your team. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to discussing how I can support your upcoming onshore and offshore projects.
Sincerely,
Fred Beernaerts, ARB, RIBA, LEED GA / AP BD+C / AP O+M, PMP
