Job Description
Role: To support the Store Manager in managing assigned stores, ensuring profitability, delivering excellent customer service, and facilitating employee development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in directing and managing the store under the supervision of the Store Manager, leveraging data and reports on financial and operational performance at the store/department level.
- Ensure effective application of procedures and policies.
- Monitor and control costs against the budget to maximize the cost-effectiveness of store operations.
- Support the implementation of actions to address store-related shrinkage.
- Provide feedback to the Store Manager on customer requirements and preferences.
- Help supervise the implementation of hygiene, sanitation, security, and safety standards, ensuring a high level of customer service both internally and externally.
- Assist in handling and resolving customer complaints.
- Support staff training and development and ensure adherence to relevant HR procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years in a management role within a supermarket or retail grocery environment.
- Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Bilingual proficiency (English and Arabic).
- Excellent communication and management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
