Breadfast
Supply & Demand Planner
Delivered 6× revenue growth within 4 months (May–Aug 2025), sustaining an average +50% MoM growth with peaks of +219% through demand driven forecasting, agile replenishment, and FP-level allocation across 70 SKUs × 48 fulfillment points.
Turned around early forecasting inaccuracy into a record-low waste milestone, driving an >85% reduction in daily waste levels and achieving the lowest waste/sold % in the category’s history since assumption of role.
Raised availability to an average of ~89% across August, with daily peaks exceeding 99%, while reducing leftover stock to ~5% of production —directly improving customer experience and safeguarding CM1 margin.
Outperformed sales targets in 67% of category-months (Apr–Jul 2025), with certain sub-categories exceeding plan by almost 2×, achieved by balancing SKU run-rates, promotions, and availability KPIs.
Built automated dashboards (Google Sheets + Apps Script) consolidating revenue growth, availability %, waste/sold %, and SKU/FP KPIs — reducing manual reporting by ~10 hours/week and equipping leadership with real-time insights. -

HCPC Clorox JV
Senior Production Engineer
– Managing all Pouch operations (70 employees- 4 production lines).
– Optimized production plans: Analyzed sales forecasts to develop efficient weekly and daily production schedules, aligning output with demand while minimizing costs. Achieved a 37% reduction in finished goods working capital in 2023.
– Enhanced operational efficiency: Implemented Six Sigma principles (SMED) to optimize changeover process on the company’s most critical pouch filling machine, reducing average changeover time by 27% and improving production flexibility to better respond to variable demand.
– Improved resource allocation: Restructured production line setups and reallocated manual worker tasks, resulting in labor productivity increases of 25% and 17% on two production lines.
– Delivered cost savings: Achieved 1.9M EGP in cost savings by implementing a reel modification initiative that reduced scrap, defects, and operational waste.
– Data-driven decision support: Designed a live KPI dashboard and OEE monitoring system using SQL and Power BI, enabling faster, data-informed decision-making and continuous process improvements.
– Increased equipment throughput: Led root cause analysis on flowmeter accuracy issue hindering machine speed increase; used design of experiments (DOE) technique to obtain ideal machine parameters solving the issue and successfully increased line speed by 11%.
– Developed training programs: Received specialized training from the R&D head office in the USA and subsequently became an internal trainer, successfully cascading Microbiological Risk Awareness training to 70 employees at the Cairo office in 2024.
– Boosted operational efficiency: Reduced reel changeover downtime and scrap/defects in Pouch operations by 60%, significantly enhancing overall productivity.
– Supported other functions:
— Increased efficiency/ reduced manual work for HR department by developing consolidated leaves Excel sheet with automated referencing.
— Automated safety trainings scheduling through automatic synchronization with participants’ outlook calendars reducing absenteeism rate as a result of less rushed scheduling by team coordinators.
