Reporting: VP – Financial Accounting & Reporting

Location: Kuwait

Key Responsibilities:

Reviews all financial statements and manages accounts on a monthly basis after receiving from Subsidiaries / Associates.
Follow–up on all financial records of the subsidiaries, ensuring that they are accurately updated.
Reviews with external Tax auditors for final approval
Prepares the company consolidation and a Monthly Closing to ensure completeness of organized processes for the company and subsidiaries.
In charge of the Tax declaration for the company – Kuwait and local subsidiaries
Gather information from subsidiaries for DMTT tax, ensuring accurate calculations and a thorough understanding of applicable regulations.
Comprehend intercompany transactions by applying the transfer pricing policies and procedures.
Ensures that all subsidiaries submit their tax declarations accurately, minimizing payments based on actual data, and meet all deadlines.
Prepares the consolidated financial statements of the company in compliance with IFRS.
Analyzes the monthly reporting of the consolidated financial statements.
Assists in the development and enhancement of team procedure manuals and processes.
Maintains collaborative and effective relationships with other key management personnel and keeping abreast of significant reporting, and regulatory guidelines.
Actively participates in assigned Cross-Functional Teams (CFT) and ensures timely dissemination of information to CFT.

Candidate Profile:

Kuwaiti National is a must
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with equivalent years of experience
Strong English and Arabic language skills (written and spoken)
6 – 8 years of relevant experience
Significant experience in the real estate industry, and relevant experience tax / Consolidations.

Working Days / Timings: Sunday – Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
