Job Description

Reporting To: Workshop Manager

Location: Dubai, UAE

Industry: Precision Machining / Manufacturing / Engineering

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in SolidCAM (SolidWorks) for the programming and machining of high-precision parts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and verifying CNC programs for complex components and should possess a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and tooling.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize CNC programs using SolidCAM (SolidWorks) for precision machiningcomponents
Interpret technical drawings, CAD models, and engineering documentation
Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds to maximize efficiency and accuracy
Set up and operate CNC machines during trials and prototyping
Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust programs accordingly
Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to ensure parts meet specifications
Maintain and manage program files, documentation, and revisions
Support continuous improvement initiatives in programming and machining processes

Candidate Profile
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or equivalent
Minimum 6 years of experience in CNC programming using SolidCAM (SolidWorks)
Strong background in precision machining of metal and/or plastic components
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and GD&T
Experience in setting up and operating CNC machines (lathe/milling) is an advantage
Familiarity with a variety of CNC programming software (e.g., Mastercam, Siemens NX, Fusion360) is a plus
