Job Summary:
We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Officer to own the end-to-end recruitment process for our luxury catering business. The role will focus on sourcing, assessing, and securing blue-collar F&B employees, as well as building long-term talent pipelines across culinary, guest services, and event teams.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- 80% of roles filled within 30–40 days
- 90-day employee retention rate ≥ 90%
- Hiring manager satisfaction score ≥ 8.5/10
- Candidate satisfaction rating ≥ 95%
- Maintain a pre-screened talent pool of 50–70 qualified candidates at all times
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle, from job scoping and sourcing to selection and onboarding.
- Source candidates using a combination of strategies, including LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and local hiring platforms.
- Conduct structured interviews and screen for technical skills and cultural fit.
- Collaborate with department heads to define current and future talent needs.
- Build and maintain internship and entry-level pipelines with universities and hospitality schools.
- Monitor key recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, and funnel conversion rates.
- Ensure compliance with Kuwait labor laws and company onboarding protocols.
- Apply a 90/10 performance strategy, ensuring the bottom 10% of talent is continuously reviewed and refreshed.
Candidate Profile:
- 2–6 years of recruitment experience, preferably in hospitality, events, or luxury F&B sectors
- Requirement open for all nationalities
- Proven ability to hire for blue-collar roles (e.g., chefs, waitstaff, kitchen helpers) as well as managerial positions
- Strong interviewing skills with a focus on soft skills and team culture alignment
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Familiarity with Kuwait labor laws, visa processes, and onboarding best practices
