Reporting To: Technology Risk Director

 Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Fraud Risk Officer to join our Risk Advisory practice, supporting a leading banking client’s Non-Financial Risk function. The role involves advisory and delivery support across fraud risk management, working within a regulated financial services environment in alignment with central bank regulatory frameworks.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing fraud risk policies and procedures aligned with relevant Central
  • Bank guidelines and Counter Fraud Framework (CFF) requirements, including regional regulators (e.g.,

CBUAE, SAMA)

  • Design and enhance procedures for fraud risk assessment, fraud detection standards, fraud response
  • plans, fraud prevention standards, and alert & case management
  • Conduct fraud risk assessments across retail and corporate products, loan products, digital channels
  • (online and mobile banking), payment solutions, branch operations, ATM management, card services, and treasury/investment services
  • Identify inherent and residual fraud risks, including emerging threats such as digital fraud and
  • identity-related risk
  • Define and update Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with thresholds and reporting mechanisms
  • Develop and enhance a comprehensive Fraud Risk Universe/library
  • Support the design of fraud incident response and investigation procedures
  • Define KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of fraud risk management activities
  • Prepare management-level reports and presentation materials for Risk Committee and governance forums

Candidate Profile:

  • 3–5 years of experience in Fraud Risk Management within Banking or the regulated financial sector,
  • preferably with local and regional exposure
  • Requirement Open for all nationals
  • Proven experience working with applicable Central Bank regulatory frameworks and counter-fraud
  • regulations
  • Strong background in risk assessment, control design, and performance measurement
  • Relevant professional certifications preferred (not mandatory): CA / ACCA / CPA / CIA / CFE
