Job Purpose: The Assistant Manager- IT Process Control is responsible to support the Manager- IT Process Control in implementing, monitoring, measuring and reporting of Quality Assurance within IT.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and changes of IT policies and procedures and ensure that new/changed policies and procedures get approved
  • Maintain updated knowledge of rules, regulations and standards in the field and related matters of interest to the department
  • Monitor adherence to all IT procedures and compliance by ensuring the implementation of corrective actions to reduce operational risk
  • Support IT QA Manager in managing version control process for source code and ensure that QMS and ITSM systems (used for raising change requests) is adapted to Business and IT requirements and to provide QMS reporting to Management as specified
  • Support in managing Information Technology handbook, incidents, audits, change requests and subsequent follow-ups to ensure investigating and closing requests and incidents by target time
  • Design, update, publish (on the intranet) and internally market the policies, procedures, operational documents / manuals, help screens, other online help documentation, user manuals, technical manuals etc. meeting both time and quality standards
  • Generate and escalate periodic and requested reports ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
  • Manage the requirements of the Internal and External auditors, collect inputs and prepare final reports
  • Participate in the various cross-functional committees/teams for multiple purposes to achieve optimal cooperation and seamless quality service
  • Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization
  • Manage the requirements of internal and external auditors
  • Participate in the selection and development of staff
  • Evaluate performance and recommend developmental needs of the team
  • Review recommendations of subordinate staff and provide guidance in resolving complex or sensitive problems
  • Maintain and promote positive work culture and responsible for improving employee engagement level of the team

 

Candidate Profile:

  1. Requirement open for all Arab nationals
  2. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
  3. Minimum 5 years of experience required
  4. Experience in Quality inspection, auditing and testing experience with implementation of corrective action programs
  5. Experience of working with tools, concepts and methodologies of QA and relevant regulatory requirements
