Job Description

Manages a team of 6-7 people

Reports To: IT & Communication Manager

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Plans, researches, evaluates, recommends, and implements various IT and Infrastructure projects to support functional requirements of the company.
  • Manages and monitors the team’s efficiency and productivity by assigning tasks and responsibilities effectively to team members to ensure that all assigned IT and infrastructure domain areas operate smoothly without any issues.
  • Manages and establish priorities for maintenance, design, development and analysis of entire infrastructure systems inclusive of LANs, WANs, internet, wireless implementations and apt security especially for network, infrastructure and servers are maintained.
  • Conducts research and recommend changes in services, products, protocols and standards to support development efforts and infrastructure procurement.
  • Ensures server performance is as per standards and provide network presentation statistics.
  • Reports and prepares strategies to maintain server infrastructure.
  • Negotiates with outsourcers, vendors and contractors for infrastructure specific products and services in coordination with Purchase department.
  • Perform feasibility studies for different upgrade projects, conversions and improvements.
  • Develops and manages new system and application implementation plans, scripts, and testing procedures to ensure operational reliability as required.
  • Identifies problems, analyze causes and recommend solutions related to IT and infrastructure.
  • Manages the IT Helpdesk operations efficiently by overseeing the activities of the team, ensuring development and maintenance of formal procedures to record & rectify resolution of user complaints in a consistent & cost effective manner; and ensuring that all IT complaints are appropriately handled as per set standard protocols within the set timelines.
  • Guides the team to prioritize tasks based on IT user and business needs to reduce the response time and meet company needs.
  • Provides periodic reports to IT Manager on the status of help desk activities to ensure the effective management of the helpdesk operations
  • Ensures all company systems are operational with minimal disruptions.
  • Reviews the data center activities to ensure that all activities are in line with expectations and any deviations are reported.
  • Acts as the escalation point of contact for urgent and complicated support issues.
  • Provides various adhoc and periodic reports as instructed by Manager

Requirement open for Arab Nationals

Required specialization in Security

Required Bachelor’s Degree

Experience of not less than 3 years in the required field
