Store Manager / Assistant Store Manager
Industry: Fashion & Retail
Key Responsibilities
ï‚· Receive incoming merchandise and verify quantities, styles, sizes, colors, and product codes against delivery documents.
ï‚· Check products for damages, defects, or discrepancies and report any issues to the Store Manager.
ï‚· Organize and maintain the stockroom according to company standards.
ï‚· Ensure all merchandise is properly tagged, labeled, folded, hung, and stored.
ï‚· Replenish merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor as required.
ï‚· Monitor stock levels and communicate low-stock or fast-moving items to the management team.
ï‚· Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts as required.
ï‚· Assist with physical inventory counts and stock audits.
ï‚· Maintain accurate records of stock transfers, deliveries, returns, and damaged items.
ï‚· Process stock transfers between stores or warehouses according to company procedures.
ï‚· Prepare merchandise for customer reservations, online orders, transfers, or deliveries when required.
ï‚· Follow FIFO/FEFO principles where applicable, particularly for relevant retail products.
ï‚· Ensure the stockroom is clean, safe, organized, and free from unnecessary items.
ï‚· Support visual merchandising by ensuring sufficient stock is available for displays and promotional activities.
ï‚· Coordinate with the sales team to respond quickly to requests for specific products or sizes.
ï‚· Follow company policies and procedures relating to inventory control, security, loss prevention, and health and safety.
ï‚· Report stock discrepancies, shortages, overages, or suspected losses immediately.
Candidate Profile:
• Requirement open to all nationals residing in Kuwait
• Previous experience in stock keeping, inventory, warehouse, or fashion retail is preferred.
• Good understanding of inventory and stock control procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
