Job Overview
We are seeking a highly driven and authoritative Sales Operations & Development Manager to lead the transformation of our sales function and drive aggressive growth within the HORECA sector. This is a turnaround leadership role focused on instilling discipline, enforcing accountability, and building a high-performance sales culture.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Accountability
ï‚· Establish and enforce clear performance benchmarks across the sales team
ï‚· Build a culture of discipline, punctuality, and accountability
ï‚· Lead by example in work ethic, field presence, and professional conduct
ï‚· Ensure strict compliance with company policies and reporting standards
2. Sales Execution Excellence (Core Mandate)
Drive daily team performance through four non-negotiable pillars:
ï‚· Route & Visit Discipline: Ensure 100% compliance with customer visit schedules
ï‚· Full Product Offering: Enforce complete product portfolio presentation in every interaction (no order-taking behavior)
ï‚· Aggressive Customer Acquisition: Lead and monitor consistent onboarding of high-value new customers
ï‚· Basket Expansion: Increase product penetration within existing accounts, converting customers into multi-category buyers
3. Business Development & Market Expansion
ï‚· Leverage industry network to generate high-value leads and partnerships
ï‚· Identify new market opportunities and expand company footprint in Kuwait
ï‚· Drive competitor displacement through strategic selling and service differentiation
4. Team Leadership & Development
ï‚· Manage, coach, and mentor the sales team to achieve peak performance
ï‚· Address underperformance decisively and maintain high standards
ï‚· Conduct regular field visits alongside sales representatives
ï‚· Foster a results-driven and disciplined team environment
5. Customer Engagement & Retention
ï‚· Personally engage with key and at-risk customers
ï‚· Resolve escalations and complex customer issues effectively
ï‚· Restore relationships with lost accounts and ensure long-term retention
ï‚· Champion exceptional service standards across the team
6. Reporting & Sales Operations
ï‚· Oversee CRM usage, ensuring accurate and timely data entry
ï‚· Track KPIs, sales performance, and pipeline development
ï‚· Submit daily/weekly performance reports to the General Manager
ï‚· Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends
Candidate Profile:
ï‚· Requirement open for Arab Nationals
 5–8 years of experience in sales, preferably within HORECA, FMCG, or food distribution
ï‚· Proven experience in sales team leadership or supervisory role
ï‚· Valid Kuwait driving license required
 Strong knowledge of Kuwait’s HORECA market is a major advantage
