Job Summary:

 

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager to oversee the company’s accounting operations and financial reporting activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing the general ledger, leading month-end and year-end closing processes, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.

The role requires a strong technical accounting background, excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with management and various departments across the organization.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Manage the general ledger, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and account reconciliations.
  • Lead and coordinate the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable IFRS and/or GAAP, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and company accounting policies.
  • Keep up to date with changes in accounting standards and relevant financial regulations.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate accounting policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Ensure financial records are accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with company requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor effective internal controls and accounting procedures.
  • Identify potential financial and operational risks and recommend appropriate controls.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, Procurement, Payroll, and other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

 

 Candidate Profile:

  • Requirement open to all nationals
  • Experience of 10-12 Years Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Should Have Knowledge of Accounting Systems
